Upstart Creative, a division of Upstart Film Collective, is an independent production company composed of actors, writers, and directors. Our goal is to produce new media focusing on strength of script as well as nourishing the vital rapport between the actor and director. We realize that digital filmmaking has given us an incredible gift, slowly bridging the gap between theater and the film process. Our independent projects, workshops, and professional services all reflect our belief that professional filmmaking can be achieved by embracing this new medium, in a cost-efficient and timely manner.
Upstart Creative looks to produce short and feature length films, documentaries, animated projects, as well as workshop new writers and playwrights in a forum that will benefit the array of new media outlets.
We have created a couple of home pages for our productions, Trivial Pursuit, which has some video clips available for you to peruse, and Night Surf, a film based on the Stephen King short story of the same name.
