Acting/Talent Reels
We're actors ourselves, and we know how hard it can be sometimes to make yourself and your body of work stand out. By combining our equipment & grunt work, and your vision, we can create a reel that accurately reflects who you are, while still being slick and unique enough to grab the attention of agent and casting directors the world round. Throw in our DVD authoring package, and look out Hollywood, 'cuz here you come!
What we will do is take your previous acting material, whether it be from a film, a video, a play, TV, or even a family vacation, and edit it down to a reel usually about four or five minutes in length, which showcases your special talents to the world, and more importantly, those folks than can give you a job! You can give us as specific a set of directions as you want, or let us come up with some ideas that you might not have previously thought of. Before we even begin working on your reel, we'll conduct a FREE personalized consultation with you where we view your material and discuss with you the direction you want to go.
Don't have any footage from your previous work? Want even more material to work with? Don't worry! Upstart is also the only place where you can put yourself on tape for auditions. You can perform your own monologue, a Shakespearean sonnet, or we can even write something up for you as well. We offer great deals on audition shoots.
After all the work is completed, you then let us know how you want your final reel delivered, whether it be on CD, video tape or DVD. We guarantee you'll be satisfied! From there on, it's up to you! Get famous! Make us proud!
DVD Authoring & Encoding Services
In addition to our acting/talent reel production, we also offer DVD authoring & encoding solutions. These packages can be combined with your edited reel to create a presentation that really packs a punch, or we can authoring a DVD from scratch for whatever video project you may have, from a wedding to an independent feature film.
We offer two distinct DVD authoring solutions. Our basic package is our most cost-effective, and is geared toward weddings, births, vacations, and other special events in your life. With this package you can select one of 14 pre-designed menu themes (with more to come - please call for a catalog).
Remember that you, as the customer, are always in control of how you want your DVD to look! If you don't like any of our pre-designed menu themes you can always supply your own menu graphic. Also, everything in our Basic Authoring Package is customizable! All the fonts and buttons can be changed to suit your own personal taste at no additional cost.
Or, if you want, take advantage of our personalized menu and button design service that comes with the Advanced DVD Authoring Package. With the personalized design service, we can create (at an additional cost) custom buttons and either still or even motion menus that serve both your budget and your personal vision. If you're looking for more advanced DVD features, such as Dolby Digital sound, and alternate video angles, or commmentary tracks, take a look at the aforementioned Advanced Authoring Package.
