In 1992, Glengarry Glen Ross was finally made into a movie, almost nine years after it made it's American premiere on the stage. In order to clarify the story for the movie-going public, David Mamet wrote an additional introductory scene starring Alec Baldwin in an captivating performance as a dominating real estate salesman. James Foley directed this masterpiece which featured one of the best ensemble casts ever assembled. From the back cover:
